Tron Legacy Sound Redesign

This was a sound design project where I created all of the sounds for the bikes using digital synthesis. The other sounds present that weren’t from the bikes engine were pulled from libraries. The primary sound for each bike was made using vocoder techniques with a synthesizer as the carrier and the sounds of an actual motorcycle as the modulator. Each bike also has tons of additional layers all done with a mix of subtractive synthesis, FM synthesis, and wavetable synthesis.

This was a sound design project I did manipulating sounds pulled from various libraries. A few of the magic sounds were also made using granular synthesis within Serum 2.
